A Reflection on Current Political Affairs
Last night, as MPs rejected all possible Brexit deals, our countries Government falls into yet further turmoil. Sad to see for a young, aspiring politician, that indecisiveness seems to be a common feature of the current compliment on politicians. In the future change is and must be required. The front and back benchers for the government and opposing parties must be filled with decisive, modern and forward thinking people.
The government and it’s MPs must also be more representative of the people of this country, whilst MPs hide behind the line “I represent my constituents’ wishes” are they themselves am accurate representation of their constituents? We are simply falling into the trap of consistently picking the same governments at a local level, then picking the same MPs and seeings government officials able to hold positions for years without much contest.
Please feel free to share this commentary and provide your own in the comments section, after all whilst MPs are hiding behind party lines and refusing to converse with one another, it falls on the people to recognise the need for a discussion. In addition, it will enable me to grow my profile given that it is in its youth.
